The Bohr Hydrogen Atom

Use the sliders to control the display of the energy levels for the hydrogen atom. Click or click and drag on the energy levels to show the emission spectrum for each level and click on the lines in the spectrum to reveal the levels involved in each of transitions. You can also change the units for the energy levels and spectrum between those commonly used in spectroscopy (wavenumbers cm-1, nanometres nm and hertz).

Once you have covered all of the available resources for electronic spectroscopy, you should test your knowledge and understanding with the self test.
