Staff-Student Liaison Committee


The Committee


The committee meets twice each semester and provides an opportunity to discuss both general and specific issues relating to Chemistry teaching. This committee has elected representatives from each of the Chemistry units of study, the coordinators of First, Second and Third Year Chemistry and a Chairperson.

The meeting times this year are:
  • 27th March 2017
  • 15th May 2017
  • 14th August 2017
  • 16th October 2017
Your class representative will seek feedback from you before each meeting. Look out for a discussion board post.

First Year Studies


Often the quickest and most effective way is for you to talk directly to us. You will find that all the lecturers in the School of Chemistry are very approachable. If you have questions about any of the material that they have presented, feel free to contact them.
Dr Toby Hudson, Director of First Year Studies in Chemistry, and the First Year Chemistry Team welcome any suggestions, constructive criticism or questions you may have. Dr Hudson is located in room 456 and may also be contacted by email (toby.hudson@sydney.edu.au).
You will find that all the lecturers in the School of Chemistry are very approachable. Your lecturers are listed in the "Teaching Staff and Contact Details" page of the unit Canvas site. If you have questions about any of the material that they have presented, feel free to contact them.
